WINTER IS PAST

Song of Solomon 2:10 “My beloved spoke, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land…”

The excitement of a new season is often not expressed as it should be, but here the Bridegroom describes the warmth and beauty and life that comes when seasons change!

1)  “Rise up” – Time to get outside and enjoy what you could not in the former             season!
2)  “Come away” – There are still some things to come away from if you want to               enjoy a new season!
3)  “Winter is past” – Don’t live in the past!  Reach forth for the new thing!
4)  “Singing of birds” – Start singing a new song, the birds are doing it!
5)  “The voice of the turtle is heard in our land” – It’s time to once again tune our                ears to the voice of the Holy Spirit!
